6 More Podcasts That Can Influence Your Life and Leadership Capacity

In June I wrote 6 Podcasts That Can Influence Your Life and Leadership Capacity. If you haven’t read it yet, I encourage you to read it in conjunction with this — Part 2. The following is a list of new podcasts I have added to my podcast library which I have found quite interesting and helpful in the different spheres of my life, leading myself, at home and at church. No matter your sphere of life or influence, I hope this list will be helpful to you.

1. THE VAULT PODCAST

The Vault Podcast is a children’s ministry specific podcast featuring Funny Man Dan (Dan Lee-Archer), Jess Mclean (Hillsong Australia Kids Pastor) & David Wakerley (Hillsong Kids Creative Director and Pastor) from Hillsong Kids in Sydney Australia. These three have many years of childrens ministry leadership experience under their belt. The podcast is dedicated to help strengthen your kids team and your effectiveness as a childrens ministry leader. 2. UNDECEPTIONS

Undeceptions with John Dickson (author, speaker, historian, media presenter and Founding Director of the Centre for Public Christianity) explores aspects of faith, life, history, culture or ethics that is either forgotten or misunderstood. To undecive is to o free from deception, illusion or error. With the help of experts, John Dickson and his guests try to let the truth out every Monday. He has discussed the authenticity of the bible, religion in sport, God and science, moral classics and much more.

3. THIS GLORIOUS MESS

With hosts Holly Wainwright (editor, writer and mother of two) and Andrew Daddo (broadcaster, author of children’s books and father of three), Australia’s top podcast in parenting, brings some comedy to the frontlines of family life. Every Friday, Holly and Andrew look at the reality of parenting with all of its surprises, confusion, inspiration, exhaustion and mess. What makes this a good listen is that it is not about perfect parenting but parenting in the trenches.

4. DIRECT ADVICE FOR DADS PODCAST

For expecting dads to current dads, this podcast is for you. Full of laughs and parenting advice specifically for dads, DAD (Direct Advice for Dads) brings practical advice, tips, wisdom and real stories of Aussie dads who are currently navigating the challenges of family, kids, work and relationships from pre-birth to adult years.

5. LEAD TO WIN WITH MICHAEL HYATT

Lead to Win is another weekly podcast that releases every Tuesday. Michael Hyatt (New York Times best selling author, podcaster, blogger, speaker, and the former chairman and CEO of Thomas Nelson) combines current research with timeless wisdom for lasting success. Michael and daughter Megan Hyatt Miller who is the Chief Operating Officer of Michael Hyatt & Company discuss personal productivity and personal development, self-leadership and team leadership, intentionality and influence, as well as insights and tools you need to win and succeed in life and work.

6. FOCUS ON THIS

This weekly podcast claims to be the most productive podcast on the internet. Hosts Courtney and Blake endeavour to get you loving Mondays by giving you proven strategies and practical tips for increasing focus. The whole podcast is based on the Full Focus method used in the Full Focus Planner. Additionally, guests and listeners share their own productivity tips to help you make the most of every day.
